You Are Slaves of Sin. If The Son Sets You Free, You Will Truly Be Free

³³ They responded to Him, “We are the seed of Abraham, and to no one have we ever been slaves^[a]. How is it You say that ‘You will become free’?” ³⁴ Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you that everyone doing^[b] sin is a slave of sin. ³⁵ Now the slave does not remain in the house forever. The son remains forever.
